EXCALIBUR 1066 CERTIFIED VINTAGE

ORIGIN: Honduras
WRAPPER: Cameroon BINDER: Connecticut Broadleaf FILLER: Dominican Republic/Honduras/Nicaragua
STRENGTH: Medium

In 2001, General Cigar ran a trial promotion during which the company sent consumers two cigars simply labeled “Selection No. 1” and “Selection No. 2.” Then, in focus groups and by letter and e-mail, those consumers voiced their preferences, and the more favorably received cigar went into production to become the Excalibur 1066. Anyway, while this is possibly not the greatest sales pitch in the world, these Excalibur 1066 Certified Vintage smokes are the ones that were not picked by the focus groups. That being said, they’re fine cigars, and with a whole bunch of extra years to season, they’re a hell of a smoke.

If you're a fan of Excalibur 1066 cigars, then you know all about smooth smokes with a bit of spice. Why not try the equally good, but not as widely popular version of the 1066 that never hit tobacconists' shelves way back in the early 2000s? These Cameroon-wrapped vintage smokes have had lots of time to age and feature a medium-bodied multination blend of fine tobaccos.
